breather fabric, bleader fabric for vacuum bagging, breather fabric for vacuum bagging, autoclave, composite lamination
VC014 is a high quality non-woven breather/bleader fabric made with polyester fibrous material, ideally suited for distributing vacuum pressure, ventilation and absorption of excess matrix. It can be used at ambient and high temperature applications, for vacuum bagging, autoclave, and other processes. Due to its multidirectional high elongation and drapability this breather fabric is able to follow complex lamination surfaces.

Features & Benefits
• Its complex fibrous composition allows air and gases to escape easily from the laminate during the vacuum process.
• Made from lightweight, non-woven polyester, it ensures uniform airflow and resin distribution across the composite surface.
• It ensures even pressure distribution and proper resin flow, helping in producing high-quality composites with superior mechanical properties and a smooth finish, reducing the need for post-processing.
• It effectively absorbs excess resin, preventing the risk of defects such as air pockets, voids, or resin-rich areas.
• Highly resistant to high temperatures involved in curing processes without degrading or losing effectiveness.
• Compatible with a wide range of composite materials and resins, including epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester.
• Works effectively combined with other materials like peel ply or perforated films, ensuring easy release after curing.
• Versatile component in various composite manufacturing applications, from aerospace and UAVs to automotive and marine industries.
